Meet your speakers:

Martin Pratchett - Engineering NZ


Martin is the Engineering Practice Manager at Engineering New Zealand. He works with industry partners and regulators to produce good practice guidelines and continuously improve the standard of engineering in New Zealand.

Ron Pynenburg - Registered Architect

Ron is a registered architect, past President of the NZIA and past chair of the NZRAB, now practicing part-time as a sole-trader consultant on building compliance and competency matters since retiring after 40 years in his architectural practice 2021.

Casey Curtis - ADNZ Professional Member

Casey is the owner and director of CA Architecture - a collaborative practice specialising in high performance energy efficient homes throughout New Zealand. Casey is an active member of the Superhome Movement, contributor to and on the review team of the Healthy Home Design Guide (released 2020) and has studied through the Passive House Institute of New Zealand. Joining ADNZ in 2018 and subsequently nominated to the Regional Executive in 2020.

Jamie Lester - WSP


Christchurch-based Jamie is Technical Director - Building Structures. He's been at WSP since 2005 and specialises in the structural and seismic design of new buildings and strengthening of existing building structures.

Craig McGhie - Director at Seajay Consulting Engineers Limited

Craig is owner and director for Seajay Consulting Engineers Ltd and provide structural and fire engineering design services for:

- Residential and commercial buildings and structures.
- Infrastructure buildings and structures.
- Industrial buildings and structures.
