Project Description

Club Tower is named after the historic Canterbury Club and is the first A-grade building constructed in the Garden City for almost 20 years. Reaching forty metres into the clear Canterbury sky, Club Tower comprises of 13 stories, with three floors of car parking (basement, ground and first floor) and ten levels of office space. Club Tower is the first 5 Star Rated Green Star Rated building in the South Island incorporating numerous Sustainable Design Elements. The brief stipulated that the office floor plates where to be clear span giving tenants ultimate flexibility for there fit outs while providing an abundance of natural light and extensive views of the Southern Alps and cityscape. Floor to ceiling glazing is extensively used around the perimeter of the office areas to provide a visual connection with the exterior. Glazed balconies are located on all levels and provide an escape from the structured office environment. Occupants will enjoy a comfortable and energy-efficient environment incorporating fully automated blinds, lighting and air conditioning. Internal walls have been kept to a minimum to provide tenants flexibility in there fit
