Langdons Quarter

Project Description

Langdons Quarter is a new dining experience and destination at the Northlands Shopping Centre in Christchurch. It is the brain child of Kiwi Properties to provide a dining and social experience in one. The concept was dubbed ‘botanic industrial’ featuring exposed steel and concrete flooring in a giant high-ceilinged space softened by lavish hanging gardens and white washed timber. Weir Architecture was appointed to relocate and re-imagine the Adana Grill and Royal Roast food offerings. We embarked on researching band identities and concepts that fitted both the Clients and Malls requirements. During this design process it was essential that we worked closely with our client and Kiwi properties to ensure that a cohesive design solution was achieved.
