Following the recent New Zealand Government announcement in relation to Covid-19, Architectural Designers New Zealand (ADNZ) has made the difficult decision to defer the 2021 National Conference to October 2022.
Gregory Watts, CEO of ADNZ, was disappointed conference was unable to proceed but said in the interest of public health and safety deferring the conference until October 2022 was the right decision. “I realise there are many implications for both the attendees, exhibitors and our partner family which comes along with this decision which I'll be addressing later this week.” said Watts.
The 2021 Architectural Designers New Zealand National AGM and National ADNZ Resene Architectural Design Award celebrations will continue as a hybrid event on the 29th of October, regionalised at locations to be advised and based on the Covid-19 restrictions applicable to each region at that time. “I appreciate your support and look forward to making the 2021 ADNZ Resene Architectural Design Award ceremony one to remember!” said Watts.
