As one of the most-awarded architectural design offices in the country, it is understandable that we take immense pride in our work. We are not exclusive to any architectural genres or budgets, preferring to work on any scale project so long as our clients are willing to take the journey with us.
We believe good design is within the reach of any person, group or organisation. We are NZ born and bred, we understand our unique cultures, we understand the climate. We harness space, light and landscape to create truly responsive and original architecture.
As a medium sized practice, we are capable of handling most sized projects. Our projects range from colour schemes, to residential alterations to education and local government buildings.

Our firm has just moved into a newly refurbished large office space in Rotorua, in which Darryl Church Architecture has been involved from the outset, designing, plans, resource consent, and finally acting as project manager.
Throughout the process Darryl and his team have been professional, and had prompt turnaround at every step. No deadlines have been missed, and I must say the relationship has been at such a level that we have really not needed to be concerned with any issues of significance.
Darryl has been easy to deal with, and has managed to bring to life a concept that fitted with our firm's vision and culture. He has gone out of his way to ensure that the process was smooth for all parties concerned. Whilst not being inexpensive, the cost was in line with expectations, and has truly created value for us.
