We engaged Grant at RAD to provide us with some initial advice around water proofing the exterior of our home and to design a new bathroom downstairs. We quickly realised the enormity of the job we were undertaking and with some searching found a specialist company for the water proofing. RAD was able to work collaboratively with the other provider in a harmonious manner that meant we were able to trust the decision making process we entered into. When the initial tender came back outside our budget we were all able to sit around a table and work out the ‘must haves’ from the ‘nice to haves’ and come out with a scope for work that meant we were able to get what we wanted. We have been very impressed with RAD as a company to work with. They are approachable, professional and honest. What I particularly value is the care taken to walk me through various contracts so I have a clear understanding of what to expect when and what is expected of me also.We would unreservedly recommend Grant and RAD to anyone looking for architectural design work to be completed without hesitation.

Grant was very thorough and precise in his on-site visits, design plans and consent documentation for the renovation of our kitchen, dining, lounge and bathroom areas. So much so, that WCC sent an email thanking him for the great documentation! This meant consent was approved very quickly. He gave me an accurate time frame and talked through the process so that I understood what to expect and when.Removing the wall between the kitchen, lounge and what was the old dining room has completely opened up the living space and made it more functional to our needs. The change has had a huge impact on the way we move through the space and live in the space. Bathroom work has not started yet, but I know what Grant has designed will again have a positive effect - making use of hall and redundant cupboard space to almost double the floor area in the bathroom - can not wait for that to commence early next year.Would, without a doubt, highly recommend Grant/RAD for any architectural work you may need.
