Weekends escape from the busy life of Business and Auckland. The brief was clear from the clients. A place for the family to retreat on weekends & holidays with a focus on Boating, the outdoors and entertaining. As the holiday house was always intended to be shared with friends and family, the layout encourages socialising and relaxing, while having separate bedroom suites to give the occupants a break from each other when required. I've been told that the Rumpus / Bunk room can sleep up to 8 children comfortably and has been a whole lot of fun for families that gather at the home to relax and enjoy each others company.
