The end-to-end renovation and addition of a city fringe workers cottage. Our clients, returning from aboard to raise their growing family, purchased this Grey Lynn home with grand plans of transformation. Working closely with heritage planners for resource consent, our designers created a new street entrance and frontage, adding a new rear living wing, petite work space, laundry and en-suite. The overall design remains sympathetic to the homes original form and features, while offering enough natural light and space to serve as a beautiful family abode...for at least the next 110 years. Scope: internal reconfiguration and external addition concept design, resource consent management, developed design, council approval process management, on-site monitoring
