A very cool creative couple, with grand ideas to pump a new life into a classic New Zealand icon. The design brief; to create a new wing with a stark juxtaposition to the original statehouse form. Our designers created an open plan living, dining, kitchen format, reconfiguring the bathroom laundry, and the introduction of an ensuite to the master bedroom. The result; a fluid contemporary design, maximising natural light, open flow, and original features. A house full of aroha and special touches (for years to come).
