Murray Brown has been in the building industry for over 40 years, learning his trade with the Ministry of Works and The Education Board. Murray also worked for a short time in aluminium joinery and metal roofing industries before going into business for himself as an Architectural Designer and has been successfully running his own company, Murray Brown Design Ltd, for the last 25 years.
Most of Murray's work has been new houses, house alterations, motels and restaurants.
Murray prides himself on his ability to work one to one with all his clients. Together Murray produces designs which utilize their ideas, and allow the integration of the latest materials and construction methods, as well as the tried and true ways of yesterday

I have known Murray for many years and we have completed a number of projects together from new houses, alterations to a three storey apartment block in Hanmer so choosing a designer for our new motel complex was a forgone conclusion.
Murray always has provided me with an excellent set of documents, liaises with all the necessary consultants and obtains the necessary Resource Consents and Building Consent. This takes a lot of the stress out of the Building process.
